Since April 1, 2017, if you apply for a work residence permit in China, you will be required to present your original academic degree certificate. Non-Criminal Record Application and Certification
Foreigners who come to work and live in China need to apply for a lot of relevant documents and visas in order to stay legally. Among them, the non-criminal certificate is one of the documents that are often required. Since the certificate of no criminal Record issued by the foreign police department cannot be used to submit the Chinese residence permit or the application for permanent residence in China, the relevant overseas non-criminal certificate must be notarized by a local law firm or notary office, the local government department and the country's diplomatic corps. Department certification, and finally by the Chinese embassy in the local embassy to confirm its authenticity, can be used for application.
